Intercambio Internacional - International Soap Swap

Esta es una entrada muy especial, ya que se trata del primer intercambio internacional de jabones en el que participo. 

This is a very special post, because it talks about the first international soap swap in which I am taking part.

Todo ello es gracias a Julia, de Soap Artists, un blog dedicado a jabones de todo el mundo y con un gusto exquisito, tanto la parte estética como las valoraciones, siempre comentarios en positivo en los que demuestra su amor por este arte. Muchisimas gracias, Julia, por hacer esto posible.

Se relizó un sorteo para "emparejarnos", ya que los jaboneros españoles intercambiábamos con jaboneros del resto del mundo.... Y mi "partener" para el intercambio fué Bella Fresca, nada menos que de los Estados Unidos...

In the first place, a draw took place in order to get “pairs” of us, with the idea that Spanish soapmakers could make the exchange with soapmakers from the rest of the world. My partner for the exchange was Bella Fresca, from as far as the US.

 Susan, su creadora, y yo, nos hemos estado escribiendo todo este tiempo, compartiendo nuestro amor a los jabones... en muchas ocasiones gracias al Google translator, que ha facilitado (y a veces de manera un tanto divertida), la comunicación....

Susan – Bella Fresca’s creator – and I have been writing each other, sharing our love for soap… very frequently thanks to the Google translator, which has indeed made our communication a lot easier (sometimes, I admit, in a peculiarly funny way…). 

Después de una complicadisima seleccion, por fin me decidí por tres jabones para probar.... y por fin los tengo en mi casa.....

Hawaiian Floral, Cedro y Lemongrass y Pink Secret Crush....

After making difficult choices, I finally made up my mind on the three soaps I would like to try, and I now have them home:

Hawaiian Floral, Cedar & Lemongrass, and Pink Secret Crush

Aqui podeis ver los jabones empaquetados....me encanta el envoltorio, tiene un gusto exquisito!!

You can see here the soaps, packed in such a gorgeous taste. I love the packaging! 

Y por detrás viene el listado completo de los ingredientes, supernecesario! 

And, on the back, it provides a full list of ingredients, something really necessary.

Los jabones listos para probar..... No puedo describiros como huelen, son aromas frescos, delicados, combinaciones perfectas.... Pink Secret me ha conquistado irremediablemente, es muy, muy femenino... 

Ah… the soaps ready to be tried… I cannot describe their scent, all with fresh aromas, delicate, perfect combinations. Pink Secret has definitely won my heart, it is so very feminine…

Pero no sólo me envió los jabones que la pedí, sino un montón de muestras que os enseño a continuación, incluida una "mantequilla" de cuerpo:  Monoi de Tiare Tahiti Whipped Body Butter, que me ha dejado las manos supersuaves.... 

Besides, Susan sent me not only the soaps I asked for, but also a lot of samples that I show just below, including body “butter”: Monoi de Tiare Tahiti Whipped Body Butter, just a little touch and my hands were super soft.

De momento sólo he probado el jabón "Pink Secret", y con mucha pena de gastarlo, lo confieso...Pero he de deciros que es increíble, además del olor, tiene una espuma persistente y abundante, un aténtico placer para el baño...

So far I have only used the Pink Secret, and with some regret to start it, really. But I must say it is incredible, besides its scent it does a lot of persistent lather, a true pleasure for a shower.

He de repetir (a riesgo de ser pesada), que ha sido un placer realizar el intercambio. Poder compartir conocimientos y probar jabones del otro lado del mundo es una experiencia que recomiendo a todos los que podáis hacerla. 

Again, I have to say – insistent, am I not? – that it was great to make the exchange. Being able to share knowledge and to try soaps from the other side of the world is an experience I do recommend anybody able to take part in it.
